Harry Potter Themed Posters

Hi everyone!

So, today I finished my Christmas shopping!  It’s such a nice feeling : ) And I have to share with  you guys that my house is Harry Potter themed. …Okay, not really, but my mom inadvertently decorated two different rooms in my house with two different house colors. Our upstairs is completely Gryffindor red and gold and our downstairs is Ravenclaw blue and gold (close enough, come on now). I’m pretty excited about it all and smile when ever I look at our red and gold tree. : )

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of posters that are floating around the internet. I think they’re amazingly awesome! Supermegafoxyhot if I do say so myself. : ) Let me know what you think! And if you know who made these posters, let me know please so I can give proper credit and link to their twitters, fbs, or blogs.

I love these posters!!! : )

Look me up on Twitter! @MyLifeWithHarry : )

Snape Number One?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/childrens-books-site/2011/aug/30/snape-favourite-harry-potter-character

So, Mugglenet.com posted a link to the above Guardian article detailing the top 40 favorite Harry Potter characters. If it was up to me, my top five would be the following, and here’s why:

1) Harry Potter: How can we not love Harry? He is the character that takes us through the series; his accomplishments and failures, sorrows and smiles become ours. We were heartbroken when Sirius died not only because he was Sirius, an all around awesome character, but because he was like Harry’s second father, Harry’s second chance at a good home. Harry was not the only person to discover he was a wizard twenty years ago today, we all discovered it too.

2) Hermione Granger: I love Hermione! She’s smart, fun, dedicated, loyal, what’s not to like about her? I feel like she would make an awesome friend : ) (Actually, I’ll let you in a little secret, Hermione is already my friend.)

3) Remus Lupin: To be honest, I feel like if Remus was a flesh and blood person I would be all over him, even if he is twelve years older than me. Remus was not originally one my favorite characters, but through various fanfictions and the way he was portrayed there, he quickly developed into one my favorites. Is that a lame reason to put him at number three?

4)The Burrow: I know this seems weird, but I couldn’t just pick one Weasley as my favorite. I love them all, even Percy. The Burrow holds them all, it has a magic of its own, it has seen lives that I can only dream of. I love it!

5) Dobby: A loyal friend through and through, no one could ask for anyone better! He was brave, trustworthy, and unique, all the qualities we all long to have at some point in our lives.

Honorable mentions: Colin Creevy, Luna Lovegood, Hagrid, Draco Malfoy, and Albus Dumbledore.
